Snail vs Venus flytrap

Snails with large shells are very poor prey for a Venus flytrap as they are too big and heavy, plus their large shells are totally indigestible. However smaller ones with no (or little) shell are ideal and behave just like a slug. If you can find some, they are handy food for your hungry flytraps. Their slowing moving behaviour makes them significantly easier to manually feed to your plant.
